Rawalt Family

This page is devoted to all of the documents and records collected for the Rawalt family. They were known variously as Rehwald, Rewalt, Raywalt before settling (mostly) on Rawalt by the 1840s. The original immigrant was Johannes Rehwald who became known as John Rewalt.

Mary Lawrence Rawalt - Mary was married to Samuel Heath in 1824 in Clark County IN. The family briefly moved back to Yates Conty NY before migrating to Illinois in the mid 1830s.
