The silhouettes shown above were done about 1815. They are in possession of the D.A. R. museum in Washington, D.C. Reuben and Sybil lived in Worcester, Massachusetts. Reuben was based in Worcester, MA but many of his children left for the cheaper land available in New York. Once Reuben dies, his widow Sybil moved to live with her son Amos in NY.

Reuben Underwood Grave Marker - His first wife Eunice is also noted on the Grave Marker

 

Sybil Whittemore Underwood's Grave Marker - Sybil lived with her son Amos in Cayuga County, NY and was 90 when she died in 1848. She is buried in the Fort Hill Cemetery.
